Come one, come all! Llandudno’s Victorian Extravaganza will be upon us once more at the 30th of April to the 2nd of May, and this year promises a series of entertainments and side shows, as well as the return of the popular street funfair. Very much one of Llandudno’s most anticipated annual events, the Victorian Extravaganza truly goes from strength to strength each year; 2016 already boasting an array of entertainment as well as the time-bending spectacle it is known so fondly for to celebrate it’s 30th anniversary. At the Four Oaks Llandudno Seafront Hotel, we’re positioned in the midst of the action.
2016’s Extravaganza already looks promising, with Absolute Magic performing throughout the town all weekend. Specialising in a mixture of magic including but not limited to mentalism, production, classics and vanishes, Absolute Magic certainly look to be a treat for young and old alike.
HTC entertainments have been working with the extravaganza committee for the past six years, and are set to return in 2016 with the much-loved Harley the Clown. A regular fixture at the extravaganza, we can’t wait to see what mischief Harley’s planning to unleash on the streets of Llandudno to celebrate the Festival’s 30th anniversary.
We’re happy to see that Mr. Alexander is set to return to provide his open-air one man show for 2016’s Extravaganza, a one-man variety show of juggling, unicycling, balance and illusion. Highly praised, unique, captivating, and an absolute throwback to the bygone age of the Victorians, we’re certain that his show will appeal to all.
Voltini Sideshows will be in attendance to provide a truly authentic Victorian Sideshow, performed exactly as it would have in Victorian times – circus tent and all. Brought to us by the Master of Lightning Professor Voltini, the sideshow boasts the beautiful Madame Electra, the Lady of Lightning whom defies death by 27,000 volts in the electric chair. (a small fee may be required to view the sideshow.)
Of course the Extravaganza isn’t the Extravaganza without an array of street performers in full Victorian attire, the Community Stage, Knightly’s Funfair, the steam engines and the Parade, all which return this year. Whether you’re planning to view the events, street performers, funfair, food stalls, or just simply planning to enjoy the spectacle, we know that the Victorian Extravaganza provides a fun-filled weekend for all members of the family, and we at the Four Oaks look forward to the event with much anticipation.
